  When was the last NWT revision released?

  does anyone know when the last revision to the new world translation was released?.

  i seriously wonder if there are any qualified bible translators left at brooklyn or patterson.

  that is assuming that there ever were any there in the first place.. there might not be anyone qualified in the watchtower organization to make any revisions at all.. the watchtower today wants lawyers, accountants and construction engineers, not people trained in biblical languages!.

  does anyone have the golden age series avaliable as a download/pdf scan?.

  so far i have all the watchtowers from 1879-1949 on pdf and the current wt library, both thanks to downloads on this site.

  i tired to search for the golden age but came up empty.

  So far I have all the Watchtowers from 1879-1949 on PDF and the current WT library, both thanks to downloads on this site. I tired to search for the Golden Age but came up empty. I would like these to complete my collection.

  My Struggle

  I am on there now having a nice discussion. They are taking the standard line of reasoning (though it is somewhat different than official JW teachings), I can not wait to see what happens when I reveal their flaws. I will tell what thread it is when I show them their flaws.

  It is nice talking to active Dubs and seeing how they respond to things I have learned sense I have been out.

  No I did not feel any better with God. When I told the elders I felt that I had fulfilled an obligation, thats all.

  been awhile since i participated.

  seems a bit tamer than the old board though.. need the board's input on a sociology question and wonder if some of you might respond.. i can't tell you how many conversations i have had with witnesses and ex-witnesses where the subject doesn't inevitably come up about who is still 'in' and who has 'fallen away'.

  My Struggle

  I am the first born. Left four years ago. My younger brothe is 14, and I don't think that is quite old enough to question anything. Hopefull when he gets old enough he will wake up and leave like I did.

  i found two fleshly brothers on there and wrote both of them.

  one of them i pioneered with years ago.

  i think he is df'd or just left.

  My Struggle

  Yes I found a girl that went to my home congregation. Well, she actually found me and sent me a message. I had not been in contact with her for about five years, and last I knew she was on her way out. When she wrote me she said she was reinstated and doing well. Being that we were very close friends and grew up together I was going to gently inform her that I DA myself along with the reasons why. Unfortunately it was fairly apparent from my page that I am an "apostate" so she would not return my messages, even though they had nothing to do with dubs. Soon after that she took down her page. I hope she find her way out someday.

  A year or so after I left the Borg there was a local needs talk in another congregation that I had friends at, which encouraged them to take down any myspace/facebook pages. I don't know if that was just a local thing or something that was coming from FDS.

  we know jesus mentions abraham and moses, for example.

  how many other names (prophets / important persons) are mentioned?
